Applications are invited for a PhD in “Understanding cockle health and ecological impacts in the Irish Sea”, which will be supervised by Prof Sarah Culloty (Head), Dr Ruth Ramsay and Dr Sharon Lynch as part of the Ireland Wales INTERREG Programme. The studentship will be based at the School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences (BEES), North Mall Campus, UCC, Cork, Ireland and the Environmental Research Institute, Lee Road, Cork. The successful candidate will contribute to the Environmental Research Institutes UCC ClimateLab. The candidate will work closely with the Bluefish Partners: Marine Institute, Bord Iascaigh Mhara, Bangor University, Swansea University and Aberystwyth University.
